Where are my flowers designed and grown?
Every bouquet and arrangement is handcrafted at Pick a Posy in Lyall Bay, using a selection of seasonal, market-fresh New Zealand flowers. Each arrangement is beautifully wrapped and ready to bring joy.
Can I send a message with my flowers?
Yes! At checkout, you’ll find a box to enter a personal message, which we will handwrite or print onto our custom-made gift cards.
How will my flowers stay fresh during delivery?
All our flowers are wet-wrapped at the stems with a day’s worth of water to ensure freshness upon arrival. Every bouquet is carefully prepared with quality as our top priority.

We provide same-day flower delivery throughout:

🌸 Porirua & Kapiti Coast – Titahi Bay, Plimmerton, Paremata, Aotea, Camborne, and surrounding areas.

Same-Day Delivery Details
- Order before 2 PM (Mon–Fri) and before 9 AM (Sat) for same-day flower delivery across Wellington.
- No Sunday delivery, except for Mother’s Day.
- Missed the cutoff? Call us on 04 387 3411, and we’ll see if we can still get your flowers delivered.
- Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery suburb.
What happens if no one is home?
If no one is available to receive the flowers, we will leave them in a safe, weather-protected spot at the delivery address.
What if the delivery address is incorrect or inaccessible?
- If the address is incorrect or we cannot gain access due to locked gates, dogs, or other obstacles, the flowers may be returned to our store.
- We will contact you to arrange re-delivery (which may incur an additional fee).
- New address? Leave clear instructions—we rely on Google Maps to find you!
Will my flowers look like the photos?
- Flowers are seasonal, so arrangements may vary slightly from images.
- We always design bouquets with care and attention to colour, freshness, and style.
- Some photos are examples of what you may receive—please read descriptions carefully.
- If you have specific flower or colour preferences, let us know!
- Want to see today’s flowers before ordering? Call us, and we can send a photo.
Can I get a photo of my order before it’s sent?
Yes! Just request a photo in the special instructions at checkout, and we’ll email it to you.
Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to love your flowers! If you believe there is an issue with your order, we are happy to replace or refund subject to the following:
- Contact us within 48 hours via phone (04 387 3411) or email (orders@pickaposy.co.nz).
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
- The flowers must be returned to Pick a Posy within 48 hours for assessment.
- Once reviewed, we will replace the flowers or issue a refund (including original shipping) within 7 days.
🌸 We’re here to help! We create every arrangement with love, but if something isn’t right, please be kind—we’re all human, and flowers are a natural product! 🌸
Public Holidays
- We are closed on all public holidays.
- If you place an order for a public holiday, we will contact you to offer a refund or next-business-day delivery.

- All prices include GST for orders placed within New Zealand.
